Selection and optimization of cooling and ventilation equipment for air-cooled inverter rooms

Briefly presents the characters of air-cooled inverter rooms. Based on actual projects, using CFD technique, simulates and analyses indoor environment of the air-cooled inverter room equipped with an evaporative cooling air handling unit, and thinks that it can meet the demand of indoor operation. By a technical and economical comparison with conventional schemes, suggests adopting suitable evaporative cooling air handling units in designing air-cooled inverter rooms according to practical conditions of each project, to achieve energy efficient and economic purpose.
